PAPÃO E O SONHO

Papão e o Sonho (1984)

“Once upon a time there was a country, a strange and distant country, where it was forbidden to dream. Woe to those who dream! Terrible things happened to him, things that even chilled to tell. And they want to know why? Do you really want me to tell you? Then I will tell. Because in this country he sent el-king Papão, a frowning, frowning man who did not like the laughter, the party, the joy. It is said that he spent the nights without preaching an eye to think of the best way to prevent his people from dreaming. And what terrible things he imagined to end the dream! ”
